We started Desi Cakes because we couldn't find the flavors we grew up with at local Minnesota bakeries. What began as baking cardamom cupcakes for our friends' Diwali parties quickly turned into weekend orders out of our home kitchen.

Today, we operate a full-scale bakery in Prior Lake, blending the rich, aromatic spices of traditional Indian sweets with the comforting textures of Midwestern baking. We use real butter, pure saffron, and recipes that have been in our family for three generations.
